They come out of a flac folder. But at the VBA GUI it indicates that the discs are being ripped as as mp3. This was confusing to me because I had read that I should be ripping to flac and I didn't see where to make that choice. But to answer your most of the files are in a flac file. I read about Id3v2 was in some of my links.
