This is still work in progress but recently I became convinced that at
for classical CD's FLAC files per title make more sense because then it
is possible to add a lot more metadata (tags) to the files to accomodate
performers, conductor etc. So far I have single FLAC files with embedded
cue sheets and since cue sheets are a bit limited with the fields they
accept I decided to split the FLAC files and retag the individual
files. Some help from here
http://unix.stackexchange.com/questions/10251/how-do-i-split-a-flac-with-a-cue/30863#30863
but not perfect yet because I have not quite figured out how to rip
(EAC) to individual FLAC files that works in the context of my
idiosyncratic setup where I have a batch that rips to WAV, converts to
FLAC and to individual mp3 as well. Remember disc space is cheap and I
am going for maximum data preservation.
