I record and save as FLAC. The Magix software does a pretty good job of recording and cleaning (I can select which level of noise and clicks I wish to retain). AND with the recommended mp3tag software I now get the required tag information (album, artist, title etc) into the files.
I can even most of the time get it automatically by web lookup which saves some keying.
