Dear all, I still do not correctly understand how the server decides when to apply which transcoding for which device. Is that something the device announces "Hello, I am Touch and can do up to 24/96" or requests "give me flac 24/96" and whereupon the server looks for the best fitting conversion algorithm?
Is there any documentation on this besides what is written in convert.conf and which just explains how conversion works for certain conversion types and devices, but not how the server decides upon which conversion to apply...
