Does anyone have Date/Year tagging working, with FLAC tags, please?
I'm using FLAC+CUE, and I see year tags in both the cue file and the
Vorbis comments, yet LMS doesn't show a year for these albums.
e.g. in one cue file I have:
REM DATE "2011"
and in the corresponding FLAC I have:
METADATA block #2
type: 4 (VORBIS_COMMENT)
is last: false
length: 155
vendor string: reference libFLAC 1.2.1 20070917
comments: 4
comment[0]: ENCODER=X Lossless Decoder 20110703
comment[1]: ALBUM=Miloš - The Guitar
comment[2]: ALBUMARTIST=Miloš Karadaglić
comment[3]: DATE=2011
So the year is in both places.
But in LMS this is not shown in the main Albums view.
If I go down into it and select a particular song, then View Tags, I see:
DATE: 2011
so it seems the tag is being read, but not acted upon.
The wiki:
http://wiki.slimdevices.com/index.php/SlimServerSupportedTags
suggests that it should read "DATE, YEAR" for FLAC/Vorbis.
Other tags are picked up and displayed correctly, e.g Replaygain from
the CUE, and artist/album, of course.
Am I missing something obvious, please?
