Not sure I'm following you (except I agree on the 1968 version).  My
report is suggesting there is no bug.  I have several albums of same
name (even same name, same artist), but yet they all show up as
*separate* albums in LMS display.  All albums are always in their own
separate subdirectory. This would be true regardless of when I ripped
the CDs or which order I added them to my LMS library. 

p.s. If I was to rip the two Fleetwood Mac CDs and let them end up in
the same album subdirectory, I suspect LMS would treat them as a single
album.
