I have the following setup:
Squeezebox Server:
Hardware: Samsung R610 Laptop
OS: Ubuntu 14:04 Server 64bit
SBS Version: Logitech Media Server Version: 7.8.0 - 1395409907 @ Thu

Squeeze Box Duet (Receiver + Controller)
Squeeze Box 1
Receiver+Server are connected to the same Ethernet Switch, SB1 is
connected via a powerline connector and Controller is on WiFi
On the server we have music in the following formats mp3, ogg, flac and
wma
The Receiver happily plays all music, however the SB1 only plays music
that is already in mp3 format.
I read somewhere that the bit rate needed to be limited in order to
force the server to transcode the music to mp3 so a set a bit rate limit
for the SB1 to 320 kbps
However this is still not working. I have switch on logging of the
transcodeing and I think the relevant part of the log is this

In particular the last line seems to hi-light the issue that it appears
to have selected the best available option and then rejected it.
I have installed sox/lame/flac/faad on the server and I have attached a
zip of a more complete log.
If anyone could help me sort out this issue I would be very grateful.
