Really struggling to understand this too. For example I've a Leonard Cohen record with each track set to its relevant Artist and Album Artist set to Leonard Cohen. Compilation is set to 1. Yet details show under both Leonard Cohen and under Various Artists when searching by Artist in squeezeserver.
On several occasions I have; a) Changed Album Title to "I'm Your Man" but every time I search it reverts to "Leonard Cohen; I'm Your Man; Motion Picture Soundtrack" b) Removed the Compilation TAG, but it just re-appears after saving and rescanning If I search by Artist I just want to see the Artist (not Album Artist). Here I get both Leonard Cohen and Various Artists Searching by Album shows album as "Leonard Cohen; I'm Your Man; Motion Picture Soundtrack" with Leonard Cohen on the next line.
