Not sure what exactly you want to achieve, but if you feel brave enough you can create the regex expressions yourself with the help of an online tool. Just looked at the first that a quick search revealed (https://regex101.com) and it's a nice one explaining step by step what the expression does.
Assuming you want to change the string "Radiators Willebskis St Paul 6-2-1985 d1" to "Willebskis St Paul 6-2-1985 Radiators d1", you'd enter the first into the Test String field (without quotes) and in the Regular Expression field you'd enter "(\w+) (\D+) ([\d-]+)" (w/o quotes) and in the Substitution field you'd enter "\2 \3 \1" (w/o quotes). This means you grab the first word (followed by a space) from the input field, save it as group 1, grab all following non-digit characters as group 2 (again followed by a space) and finally grab all following digits and minus characters as group 3 (and leave the rest as is). As the substitution you just rearrange the saved groups. That's it. Note that mp3tag seems to use $<group number> instead of \<group number> in the substitution part. ------------------------------------------------------------------------ reinholdk's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=36070 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=104423 _______________________________________________ ripping mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/ripping
