SUCCESS!!! I've managed to have it working at a commandline level. Now it's on to have it working with Squeezebox Server custom-convert.conf, custom-types.conf, custom-strings.txt and so on and so forth...
At least for DTS files. Not sure I'll have it working for AC3, but DTS constitutes the grand majority of my multichannel collection. I'm so damn happy.
