This is an MPEG4 file. The usual issue is because when the files were ripped, all the metadata & index is at the end of the file (I.e. only one pass was needed for the rip). This is OK for a file plbased player but for a streaming based player - metadata & index have to be at the starts (i.e. the player must know where audio data starts before it gets the music data).
The usual way to fix it to use ffmpeg with the "-moveflag +faststart" either when ripping or afterwards to convert and exiting mpeg-4. ------------------------------------------------------------------------ bpa's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=1806 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=110530 _______________________________________________ ripping mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/ripping
