What are the merits and demerits of continuing the track numbers through the disc set or returning to track 1 at the start of each disc?
In the case of Bach's Well Tempered Clavier musical sense suggests track numbering 1-24, but I guess track numbering has no musical significance for The Messiah. So much for musical considerations, what about the technical view?
