3h:22m relates to a maximum value in either file length or file header.

I can't remember the exact details but it was the source of an AlienBBC
bug many many years ago where streams stopped after 3:22.

IIRC
Flac files have a STREAMINFO metadata block which details how many
samples in the file
The max number of sample for a CD quality file results in a stream of
3hrs:22 mins

For files longer than 3h:22m
AFAIK there are three choices
(i) use zero in STREAMINFO - means length unknown
(ii) ignore length given in header (e.g. via flac command line option
ignore-length)
(iii) maybe use multiple STEAMINFO blocks - this would require a multi
pass encoder.

For transcoding LMS uses the "--ignore-length option.
Not sure what Scanner does to determine duration of flac file (e.g. file
length vs. Header field)
