I haven't gone very far with it, but I've discovered that VLC Player (free
download at videolan.org) is well-suited to putting streams on the air through
Rivendell. Not only does it have an interface to Jack, but you can even specify
which Jack ports VLC will connect to when it starts up, i.e.
Rviendell_0:record_2, so you can automate fading into and out of the stream.
