Hi David, Last week I came close to filling up my /tmp directory experimenting with some large files and did not notice. When I imported I had some short files too. It took me a while to figure out what was wrong as well. I think it would be good to have some warning if a file gets cut short.
Also at some point I completely filled /tmp and when I attempted to import or Rip CD after that I got some odd error messages. Something like "Invalid audio format". It took me a few minutes to realize that the real problem was that /tmp had filled up completely.
