Still on it... Having a look through my logs, I was seeing a lot of lines like these:
Nov 4 02:20:03 airstudio caed: ****** ALSA Capture Xrun - Card: 0 ****** Nov 4 02:20:33 airstudio caed: period size mismatch - wrote 11 So I tried tweaking my PeriodQuantity and PeriodSize, since that seemed to work for others in the past - but no joy. It wasn't until I set "UseRealtime=No" that I saw any improvement. Since doing that, the errors (as above) have been drastically reduced, and I don't notice nearly as much stuttering. But I'm still looking for a final solution. Going to try working my way through various combinations of PeriodQuantity and PeriodSize now that realtime is disabled, in hopes of finding the magic numbers.
