Happy Holidays, all. I wont be back at work for a few days (where we use RD around the clock) and am working with the 32-bit CentOS appliance disc at home, hoping to dig deep and get it doing things we don't do at work.
Two things I can use help with: 1) I have two audio interfaces in place in this clunky old Dell: one is an Ensoniq-based card, the other is the on-board Dell audio connection. All of it is visible in ALSAConfig and I've selected the two I want to use. But under Admin>Manage Hosts>Local Host, I cannot assign a card or port to any function (RDCatch, Library etc). I'm obviously leaving something out, but what? Drivers? Aren't they in there? and 2) RDAirplay launches with the stock "Paravel_RDAirplay.PNG" color scheme, which is fine; but I have some cool '50s "Boomerang Formica" artwork I want to use instead. It is parked in a folder different from the PIXMAPS folder where the other RD artwork is kept (I am unable to copy it to that folder). So when I try to change the Display Settings inside Manage Hosts>Local Host it doesn't follow, even after a stop/start daemon command. Again, what detail or action am I leaving out? Thanks very much. Surprising how I could use this software day in and day out for several years, yet still get stumped by the simplest things. -Alan _______________________________________________ Rivendell-dev mailing list [email protected] http://lists.rivendellaudio.org/mailman/listinfo/rivendell-dev
