I have been trying to get Rivendell working again. Starting about 2-3 days ago, everything EXCEPT rdairplay worked fine. Rdairplay keeps giving me an error saying "multiple instances not allowed!" But I checked a couple process managers and there is NO rdairplay processes running! I even terminated caed and rebooted rivendell daemons a number of times... even COMPLETELY REMOVED AND REINSTALLED rivendell. None of this has helped.
Any suggestions? It would be greatly appreciated. System: Ubuntu Studio 11.10 Rivendell: 2.1.0 via. Tryphon repositories (and DO NOT tell me to not use these! I have had success using them before.) Audio system: JACK (Pulseaudio is disabled) Installed as user: rduser:rivendell Additional note: After terminating rivendell daemons, usually executing a rivendell program loads the daemons before it opens. All programs except rdairplay load the daemons... rdairplay before it started giving me multiple instances not allowed error did load daemons.
