The Database server is a Rivendell machine, though not the one typically 
used for airplay. It is occasionally used for Library functions, editing 
markers, and can be put on air in case of an emergency. It also holds 
the audio ( /var/snd ), and has the audio card used for playout. So yes 
it would need to be upgraded as well.
