There is an id3tagger for linux that I have used on Ubuntu, Puddletag, you can 
find it on sourceforge . net

I mean, in DRS2006 all songs are in one or more folder. I would copy 
them all in a temp folder, and use a tool like mp3tag (win) to check and 
repair the id3tag. With these id3tagger tools you can for example use 
the filename to set the tag and the other way around. Then sort all 
songs in different folder.(genre...)

Use a terminal. Go to your genrefolder (Rock) and run rdimport.

rdimport --drop-box --log-mode --fix-broken-formats --autotrim-level=-43 
--normalization-level=-13 --segue-level=-8 --segue-length=3000 Rock *

(Rock is the group you added before in rdadmin.! Successful imported
songs are deleted from genrefolder.! Use only a copy from you orignal 
songs.!)
