Hi,

Just to note, if you are interested in sticking with Ubuntu 8.04, I've managed 
to get the latest Rivendell 2.1.2 up and
running on Ubuntu 8.04.

A while back I posted compile instructions although they are out of date now.  
I'll post an update (maybe put it on the
wiki) to this sometime in the near future.

I took time to figure this out since I have a few machines which run fine on 
8.04 but have issues running properly with
10.04.
