got the vanilla Centos 5.5 LiveCD down from a Centos mirror site just
to see if it was different and it works fine on the broken systems.
Now I'm stuck here. Can't leave the station cause I have to keep
putting on the 4 hour wav file we've been playing while the automation
is down. <sigh>
