We do have problem too with RDXport... we have fresh install on Ubuntu 11.04 using binaries... No problem on the server machine.. while on the client we get errors... Server (hosting /var/snd/ and MySQL server) and client are practically twins. If i use the client as a server no problem at all... but as soon I change rd.conf and mount via NFS /var/snd I get errors in the library (connection errors)... I can open rdadmin (it seems mysql goes well)... but rdLibrary no way! these are errors: QSqlQuesry::value: not positioned on a valid record QSqlQuesry::value: not positioned on a valid record QSqlQuesry::value: not positioned on a valid record QSqlQuesry::value: not positioned on a valid record Database connection failed ... and then a long list of queries
..I suppose Apache2 is the problem... (in manage host -> client -> RDXport service I tried both option..) it has problem running as a client... ...maybe "chown/chmod" problems?
