If you're going Open VPN and can spare a computer (or I think the DD-WRT compatible routers) have a look at pfsense.org. Its an amazing piece of open source software and is rock solid. The Open VPN wizards that are built in to that are very easy to follow through with some good guides dotted around (http://blog.stefcho.eu/?p=492 is for V2 RC1 but the same info applies for the full release of V2).
If anyone else is wondering, I would put pfsense down as production grade. I use it on a secondary Internet line instead of a Cisco firewall with road warrior VPN and a site to site VPN to India with no problems at all. Its also quite happy with dealing with the Cisco VLANs from our internal network so theres not much to moan about. Its not quite as low power on a standard server as the Cisco firewall hardware but it also doesn't cost thousands in hardware and licensing.
