Some time ago there was some discussion about building some date time
variables into rdimport so that an audio track could be labelled

TITLE-ARTIST-<startdatetimegroup>-<enddatetimegroup>-xxx

the startdatetime and endatetime need to be in the format yyyymmddhhmm

This covers the start on one day and finish on another day.

There will need to be a trap that rejects starts that occur after finishes

it is possible to add seconds but for most a default of 00 will work.
If it is an issue no problem to add ss on the end of the number here

In our case this enables us to record tide times well in advance and a
movie theatre schedule, both work better with timed cuts than any
other option.

We generate the labels from published charts using a spreadsheet and
it's all manual now.

Suggest %o and %c for the two variables.

I can meddle with MYSQL and get a local solution but it make sense to
have a global option included in the code.
