Hi, This sounds like it is a sample rate issue. It sounds like for some reason the sound card on the new machine didn't initialize at the same sample rate as your Rivendell audio is recorded. I've run into this with inexpensive and some onboard sound cards. The fact that the M-Audio Delta 10/10 played correctly further leads me to believe it is a sample rate issue - the M-Audio 10/10 generally initializes at the correct sample rate. I have found that if you are using ALSA with one of the cheaper cards and have this issue, you can sometimes get around it by specifying the RATE in your etc/asound.conf file. I've found this can work with some intel audio chipsets, however it has a 50/50 chance whether or not it'll work. _______________________________________________ Rivendell-dev mailing list [email protected] http://lists.rivendellaudio.org/mailman/listinfo/rivendell-dev
