Hi Geoff, I haven't played with it much yet, but mysql-workbench ( http://www.mysql.com/products/workbench/) is the "recommend" replacement for mysql-admin since the former had its WOL announcement in December of '09 (http://dev.mysql.com/support/eol-notice.html).
