Hi,

I want to make use of multiple scheduler codes when I generate logs.

At the present time, as far as I can see, only one code can be specified in an
Event ('Must Have Code [X]'). And the restrictions (under 'Scheduler Rules')
in the Clocks only apply to what it follows - ie 'Dont Play After' (this or
that).

Is that correct, or am I missing something obvious?

Let's say I have codes of 'Country', 'Rock', 'Blues' and 'Gospel' (among many
others). A song may fit any or all genres, and may be tagged accordingly.
Most of my songs have several codes therefore.

So I come to generating a Log and want a programme of bluesy-country (let's
say). I will only want songs to be picked which have BOTH 'Blues' and
'Country' included in their Scheduler Codes.

Problem is, some 'Country' songs are also 'Gospel' - don't want those included.
Some 'Blues' songs are also 'Rock' - don't want them either.

What I want to be able to say is: "pick me songs which have both 'Blues' and
'Country' codes, provided they don't also have 'Rock' or 'Gospel' ".

Is there a way to do this with the present Events and Clocks systems which are
provided?

If not, I will have to either acquire an external scheduling program, or write
one myself. But thought I should check with the forum first, to see how others
cope with this.

Any thoughts or recommendations?

Thanks,

James L.
