Oh and something tells me this is what I need to figure out maybe:

 sudo rm -rf /etc/fonts/conf.d/70-no-bitmaps.conf
 sudo ln -s /etc/fonts/conf.avail/70-force-bitmaps.conf /etc/fonts/conf.d
 sudo fc-cache -f -v
Except those files don't exsist on my older SuSE install.

Just install qt3-qtconfig and polymer, select the Polymer GUI style and
you're good to go. Sorts out ugly-looking fonts too, which I experienced
with RD on Ubuntu.

Also, for dumping pictures, may I recommend www.imgur.com and
www.dropcanvas.com - very handy tools - just drag and drop into your
browser.
