You know, thinking out loud always fixes it, I must have screwed up the player audio card in RDAirPlay, because it was set to none again for some reason. I was changing the default aux logs in there a few days ago. Problem solved, always the user :o) Not sure about the serial thing though, that still doesn't play ball.
