Load Log will remove every item in the currently loaded log, *except* for events that are actually playing (if any) and then load the specified log after any remaining events. Thus, it is quite valid to schedule one with a SEGUE transition, which can often make the transition sound a bit smoother. A Chain-To event can be similarly scheduled, seeing as that actually uses Load Log to accomplish the chain.
