At present, it monitors three things:

1) That the currently configured database is accessible

2) That the currently configured database has the correct schema version

3) That the currently configured audio store is mounted (or *not* -- if it 
resides on the root filesystem)

It also provides access to the RDSelect tool (by means of a double click) if 
more than one configuration exists in '/etc/rivendell.d/'.

That said, the intent with RDMonitor going forward is to add additional 
features over time, so your proposed SNMP functionality would be completely 
appropriate.  Patches welcomed!
