Hi, The more I thought about this, the more I think your trying to use a screw driver to drive home some nails.
http://www.sourcefabric.org/en/airtime/ Being web based and built for DJ management it seems kind of ideal for what you want. Its not as flexible as Riv in terms of GPIO and the like which is why I've never used it past the demo site. In theory I suppose you could create a guest DJ (for the unwashed Internet masses) which I assume can be restricted down to select music for x slot. Might be worth looking at either way, Wayne -----Original Message----- From: [email protected] on behalf of Cowboy Sent: Wed 05/12/2012 00:01 To: User discussion about the Rivendell Radio Automation System Subject: Re: [RDD] Listener interactivity? That said, by giving the listener access to program their own log, with user restrictions, it shouldn't be that hard. Simple, no, because you're giving the listener access as if the listener was the station program director, with restrictions. -- Cowboy http://cowboy.cwf1.com And I heard Jeff exclaim, As they strolled out of sight, "Merry Christmas to all -- You take credit cards, right?" -- "Outsiders" comic _______________________________________________ Rivendell-dev mailing list [email protected] http://lists.rivendellaudio.org/mailman/listinfo/rivendell-dev ####################### Scanned by MailMarshal ####################### ############ Attention: The information contained in this message is confidential and intended for the addressee(s) only.
