To use NTFS you need a special package; on Debian it's called ntfs-3g, but I'm not sure what its name is on CentOS.

I disable SELinux on Rivendell machines.

Happy New Year!
I guess I became a bit daring over the holidays and put together a box to
run the latest Rivendell Appliance (2.3).  Not a big deal for most, but
there's a first time for everything and I have learned just enough  to be
dangerous.

It was my plan to copy a library and data base from the Ubuntu 10.04/Riv 2.2
box I'd finally become comfortable with, onto a usb drive for transfer to
the new machine.  I recall reading that I could simply "restore" the db
after the library is in place in var/snd.

I've carefully followed the wiki to double check post install instructions.
A few things still look like they're not ready for prime time.

Apparently SElinux requires special permissions, as the Rivendell Appliance
box tells me the usb drive has an invalid file structure (ntfs).  Being
totally new to CentOS, I thought I should seek guidance on the correct "Riv"
way of doing this so as not to break it.  I tend to get lost in the woods
without a compass.

Thanks very much for suggestions!

Steve
