 Maybe yes, maybe not. Depends on who the admin is, and how
 it's been configured. If one is careful to make sure the user ID is the same,
 there shouldn't be a problem.
 There are various .profile scripts and such stored in home so they'd
 better be compatible, but I've run QNX-6 and various Linux with
 the same home directory for years with out trouble.
 Confusion sometimes, yes, but only on my part.
