We run a pretty basic setup: one machine running Rivendell and the backup
volumes are two hard drives, one internal the other external that have
/var/snd copied to them each day. The same user, 'rd' is what I've been
logged in when I have always backed up successfully in the past, whether
locally or remotely logged in. I'm mystified as to why, after about a year
of working properly with the same drives, etc. the RDAdmin backup function
no longer works.
I am unfamiliar with where one finds the GUI implementation of mysqladmin,
so I typed that into console and here's the input I got:
