Yes it would be especially handy when you are running multiple stations, to
have your central ngaios server monitoring each station and alert on any
instance that has gone down.

I'm working on setting up my ngaios monitoring at the moment to monitor each
of my stations on air systems. If I work anything out I'll report back to
everyone.

But would be nice to see this info in a pretty nagvis visual J

I'd also like to monitor liquidsoap to make sure the liquidsoap service is
running as I have configured it to take an audio input from jack, process
(AGC, Compress, etc) the signal and then send it out via icecast.

We've thought about doing this as well, but have never gotten so far as to
actually try it. We'd also be curious to hear if anyone else has done
something like this. Maybe a way to plug nagios into the new watchdog status
monitoring system in the recent versions of Rivendell?

Hi all, just wondering if anyone has had any experiences setting up a nagios
monitoring service to monitor RDAirplay is running.

Would be handy to setup a monitor service that monitors RDairplay and alerts
if it's not running, say for if there was a power failure and RDAirplay
fails to load up for some reason.

Cheers,
Lee
