I have only just noticed this.

How is the date a log will be purged set?

Is it x days [as set in rdadmin>services] from the date it is created

or is it from the date it is scheduled to be broadcast.

rdmaint is purging the log for today about 1am which is fine because the
log is loaded and playing.

Our problem occurred when we had a power outage which was longer than
the ups could cover and on boot up rd could not find today's log because
it wasn't there.

Bit of greping in /var/log/messages shows that this purging has been
occurring for some time.

Is this a recent change?

For operational reasons we create logs a fair way out, at least 7 days
and over the Jan - Feb we were 28 days ahead.

Have spent some time in mysql looking at log tables without
enlightenment.

We run three services and all behave the same, 'keep logs for' is set
differently in each one.

Last time I looked it was all working fine, but that was definitely
months ago and may have been longer then that.
