How hard would it be to change the position of data displayed on the RDAirplay screen? Currently we have "Title", "Artist", and "Description" in each of the boxes. However, being a creature of old automation habits, "Title" for the cart is the name of the "reel" of music being played (e.g. "Instrumental #3"). "Artist" on a mixed reel can be nothing other than "Various". That leaves the actual title and artist to go in the "Description" field.
So is there a way to flip the "Description" field and the "Artist" field displays on the screen so the operator can see ALL the data on the screen rather than just a truncated first 20-or-so characters where it is stuck now? Failing this, we need help thinking outside the box since we do not use an external music scheduler... we simply overprogram music "reel" carts. I am an old dog but willing to learn new tricks if someone has solved this problem in a different way. And we are not so committed to the present music system that we're not able to change music entry procedure if necessary.
