Hi Dan Did you ever solve this issue? I have similar problems exporting Audio (Ubuntu 12.04 and Rivendell 2 etc).... but If I retrieve (copy) the audio out of the /var/snd Audio store I can open it with any sound editor and do whatever with the audio.
