Well, I've installed Rivendell in a networked environment with Apache installed in the main server only, and almost everything is working fine. You must be careful of setting your main server in RdAdmin -> Host Configuration -> HTTP/Apache server for every host in the network, and that's all.
I just have this problem: in 2.2 every cut I upload is marked as uploaded from the main server and not from the clients.
