I have a Yellow Tec PUC2 USB sound card and a USB Matchbox 2. Both of these cards use the ALSA USB driver and both work on the system I have which does not have jack installed. The issue arises when I try to use the Yellow Tec Sound card with JACK for some reason it always fails to connect to the ALSA driver but works perfectly with the matchbox. I would rather be using the Yellow Tec but do not know what the problem is. Guy Curtis Broadcast Engineer WAZU Peoria
