Hello, Over the weekend, I upgraded Imperial College Radio's Rivendell setup from 1.7 to 2.5.1 using the broadcast appliance. Just a quick note to say thank you so much to the developers of this appliance - it is truly worlds away from the hours I used to spend compiling dependencies. (we're still off air due to webserver hardware failure - but I'm still very grateful the Rivendell install was so painless)
I now have a quick question on user panels. With multiple hosts running RDAirplay in different rooms of the studio, we'd like DJs to be able to prepare their panels outside of the broadcast studio ready for their show. The panels are shared, as expected for user panels, but changes do not seem to be reflected at other hosts until the panel is manually refreshed - for example, by changing the value of the play all / play hook dropdown. I'm wondering if there is any way to update the panel with changes as they are made, without any need to trigger a manual refresh in this way? They wouldn't need to be instant - even a thread on a 30 second loop would be fine, or some RML that we could build into our heartbeat cart (which would not force stations that do not want their panels to update automatically). Cheers, Chris
