Hello all, I'm currently running several Rivendell 2.0.2 workstations on Ubuntu with a dedicated MYSQL server. We've had quite a few issues with stability and reliability so our goal is to replace all our workstations with ones running the Paravel Systems Broadcast Appliance install under CentOS.
I have successfully added a new CentOS workstation to the network, but ever since I have, I've been unable to make changes to the RDAirPlay section under Manage Hosts in RDAdmin. This has happened across the network and also erased all the previous RDAirplay settings. So, say I go to change the forced segue length and click Ok, when I go back in, it will have reset itself back to 0. Also, on the new Paravel Systems CentOS machine only, it will not let me exit RDAirplay without entering a password. Whatever I try as a password doesn't work and again, RDAdmin won't let me change the password. I can kill the process in terminal but it's obviously not an ideal solution. Does anyone have any advice on how to fix this problem? Our network is stable and everything is running fine now but I'm afraid what might happen if / when a workstation gets shut down or RDAirplay gets closed. It would also need to be fixed as we begin to put the new CentOS machines into production. Any help you could give would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance!
