Hi Dan,

Not sure why you are having problems with RDAirplay.  As others suggested you 
should be able to find the problem inside the error logs at the specific time 
involved. 

As for Log Refresh, I just want to ensure that you clicked the refresh log 
button on the screen (and that it lit up) after changing the log(s).  As far as 
I know you have to hit this button (Refresh Log) for a refresh to happen. At 
least - that's how our version works. We are not on 2.5 so I am making an 
assumption here...
RdAirplay routinely checks for changes during playout of a log, and when it 
see's that the date of the stored on disk (database) log is more recent then 
it's copy - THEN the refresh log button should become enabled (become active). 
Then after you hit the button -  the button returns to a disabled state until 
the next time the log is changed.

I have seen this button not become active - but that usually was because the 
system where the log was changed had a incorrect date setting, and the changed 
log got the date of the offending system. That's probably not happening to you, 
but is something to look at as well.  This is a bug in our RDLogedit and may be 
fixed in your version(s).

I have had yet another instance of RDAirplay randomly quitting for no apparent 
reason and resulting in chaos at the station. Why the hell is it doing this? 

Also, when I perform a log edit, despite "refresh log" option selected, the log 
is NOT being refreshed automatically in RDAirplay. As a result I have to reload 
the entire log back into RDAirplay for the changes to take effect, which is 
just nonsense. 

I would appreciate some help before I loose my rag and ditch this increasingly 
annoying software altogether!
