Hello, I'm looking at ways to integrate Rivendell into the Sage ENDEC EAS receiver in somewhat of a non-traditional way. I'd like to configure Rivendell to send audio digitally out directly instead of converting to analog, going through the ENDEC, and then back into a digital encoder.
The challenge I see is how to be compliant with National EAS emergencies where where it is necessary to air messages live with an indefinite length. Has anyone integrated the Sage ENDEC with Rivendell where the Sage feeds into Rivendell versus the other way around? Thanks in advance.
