Hi all, I'm in the process of setting up a Rivendell system that will play hard timed network spots. And having all sorts of fun trying to make this happen. And knowing me, I'm probably making much harder than it really is.
I have successfully setup the import process from my traffic system. The fields all fall in their correct places. Then I create the events, and this is where I have tried multiple variations with similar results. For example, I have spots that are scheduled from my traffic system to play at 20:00, 21:00 and 22:00. After creating a block of time from 20:00 to 23:00, the merged results are the first one is 20:00 the next one is at 20:58, because the actual file is 58 seconds long and the last one is at 21:56, because that file is 58 seconds long as well. Then I create events at 20:00, 21:00 and 22:00 individually and get merged results at 20:00, 20:58 and 21:00. In what way would I configure Rivendell to just play the spot at the start time that is imported from my traffic system? Ignoring the actual length of the wav file itself as a calculation. Thanks! -David
