Hi,

Apologies if I wasn't clear.  The main log has a make next near midnight to 
spool up the log chain.

The aux log does a fade followed by a play next 1 second before midnight.

Only time I've had issues is presenters not setting automatic mode in time. 

Either way I agree each method has its problems.
