Just wondering if anyone else has noticed oddities when using rdimport
on variable or average bit rate mp3s?
Its completely hit and miss but when we find a song that does this, you
can even re-encode and it will consistently cut off at exactly the same
time.
For example, lets say Broken Song A is 5minutes 30 seconds. Riv will
import and claim it is completed successfully but you might only have
got 4minutes of the song.
Broken Song B might be 4minutes long and only import 1minute of it.
The easy fix for this if you want to stick with mp3s is re-encode as a
constant bit rate mp3 or to prevent further quality loss export to wav.
Its not a big issue here but might be something to be aware of if you're
not vetting content before it goes to air like you should be.
