Hello,

That basically seems to be the best way to do it. Put the logic
further down the line.

We have a script that pumps the now playing data to
http://musicstats.dlineradio.co.uk/. This in turn feeds the website
and provides us some song play statistics.

Catch is, we don't use an RLM plugin. We have a script that listens on
port to the now-next data from RDAirPlay.
